Bespoke VASA Hydraulic Tank Cleaning System

A bespoke VASA tank cleaning system for hydraulic tank manufacturers is heading to Scotland this week! 📦

Designed specifically for post-fabrication cleaning of hydraulic tanks.

This system is being installed at Nichol McKay Ltd, who manufacture hydraulic tanks for a range of industrial applications.

After fabrication, tanks must be thoroughly cleaned to remove weld debris, swarf, oil residues and other contaminants. Even small particles can cause serious problems once installed in a hydraulic system.

Working closely with the client, we designed a bespoke VASA washing chamber capable of cleaning their various tank sizes effectively.

The system includes:

✅ Application-specific rotary cleaning heads designed for the internal tank geometry
✅ A bespoke wash chamber allowing multiple tank sizes to be cleaned efficiently
✅ Filtration and recirculation of the wash solution to minimise water and chemical consumption
✅ A repeatable, validated cleaning process that can be demonstrated to their customers

The result is a controlled, consistent and validated cleaning stage, ensuring every tank leaving the factory meets the highest cleanliness standards.
